You might not know I once stepped on the scale at 200lbs. At that time I had this burning image in my mind that I was this supposed to be this hot and healthy chick with long blonde hair. You know, like all the models. 😉
When I looked in the mirror, I thought “Is this thing broken?!” What I imagined my perfect self to be was NOT being reflected back.
When I became aware that what I wanted for myself was not actually what I was DOING for myself, I began to make a shift. It started with a small intention to allow myself to believe in my beauty. To be loved by MYSELF. To speak kindly to my body. To quiet my mind and all its crazy talk. To take daily right action towards creating my dreams. To eat a little less, to move my body a little more, to enjoy my true essence and let go of what I’m not.
If you have a goal you’ve been wanting to reach, but feel stuck and haven’t made the progress you know you deserve. Ask yourself what is blocking me from achieving my goal? What do you have to gain by staying where you are?
