“It’s all about GOALS! And I’m not talking about boring to do lists and chores! No! I’m talking about ambition of the heart! Knowing and believing that you can live a successful and passionate life! Set goals that speak to your enthusiasm! Work hard towards your hearts desire and listen to NO PERSON who tries to hold you back! Let your heart guide you, let success come to you! This is your time, not tomorrow, but right now!! What’s your Heart’s goal? Go and get it!!”-Jackson Kiddard
This is your Love Note to remind you that PERSISTENCE pays off!
So, you’ve made some goals this year.
Maybe you have BIG business plans to take over the world or maybe you have personal goals that you’re FINALLY ready to commit to.
No matter what the goal or how long the journey will take to get there, PERSISTENCE is one MAJOR key factor in reaching your goal.
Daily action. Baby steps. Don’t stop. Keep going. Repeat.
The only way to get something done is to do it. Simple right?
Break down your goal into an actionable step-by-step plan. (On paper. Get it out of your head!)
Start at the top. Do the work. Celebrate the small wins.
Most importantly, choose a goal that LIGHTS you up.
I see too often others committing to goals that aren’t in alignment with their true purpose or passions.
OF COURSE they are going to give up on their goals before reaching completion.
Without passion or purpose that SPARKS you to keep going it becomes too easy to give up.
With this being said, I invite you to reexamine your goals.
+ What will you FEEL when you achieve them?
+ What is the underlying intention of WHY you’ve set this goal?
Goals aren’t the end-all-be-all of what life has to offer.
Honestly, you could NEVER set another goal in your life and be completely HAPPY.
But, if you notice you’d like to make a change in your life, goals are the vehicle to get us there.
Setting a goal creates measurable progress.
It allows you to make adjustments along the journey.
Goal or no goal…Persistence pays off.
Now, I want to hear from you. Let me know in the comments what your #1 goal is and how you plan to stay persistent in the pursuit of your goal.
