Spring is the Season of the Liver
Did you know that spring is the season of the liver? In traditional Chinese medicine, the liver is connected with feelings of anger and frustration, which might explain why we’re feeling all those emotions during this time of year. If our liver isn’t healthy, those emotions can get stuck and lead to all sorts of imbalances in our body and mind. But fear not, there are ways to support our liver’s health, like doing activities that help us release our anger and frustration. So go ahead and scream into a pillow or hit a punching bag – your liver will thank you!
The Emotional Aspect of Healing
It’s not always going to be sunshine and rainbows – the process of reconnecting with oneself can be a real challenge, and it can hurt like hell. But guess what? It’s absolutely crucial for our overall well-being. The journey towards healing is all about finding and connecting with our true selves while being mindful of our thoughts and actions. Let me tell you – disconnection is NOT the way to go. If you’re going through trauma or abuse, don’t hesitate to seek help. And let’s not forget about taking care of our physical health, too. Eating well, getting enough sleep and rest, and being mindful of our emotions can help us start to reconnect with ourselves and heal from past trauma.

When you think about it, we are all on a healing journey.
