3 Ways to Bring More Gratitude into Your Life
Sending a Card to Someone You Love
Sending a card to someone you care about is a really powerful expression of gratitude, for a low cost. It only takes a minute or two to write a card out, and it doesn’t have to be something complicated. It allows the other person to realize how much they matter to you, and they are important to have in your life. The easy action can inspire them or just give them special feelings on a weekday.
The Ritual of Having a Gratitude Rock
The concept of the gratitude rock is that it is a conscious reminder and symbol to bring your energy and awareness to gratitude. Every time you put your hand in your pocket and you feel your gratitude rock, think of five to ten things that you’re grateful for at that moment. This puts the control of choosing how you feel in your hands.
Writing in a Gratitude Journal Everyday
When using a gratitude journal, it takes your thoughts and makes them physical. If you keep a gratitude journal, you’ll notice that there are so many things in your life to be thankful for. At the end of every day, get into the practice of gratitude journaling and writing down ten things you’re thankful for. Challenge yourself to think about the unique things that have shown up for you each day.
