“Claim your power. See yourself from a different perspective. Stop holding onto the past. Look ahead in a new direction, take your glory, and run.” – Oprah
We are being called to step into our truth and authenticity. In order to have the confidence to step outside our comfort zone and become who we are truly meant to be, we have to claim our power.
If there’s something you’ve been wanting to do but haven’t done or if there have been negative thoughts creeping in to your head, it’s time to let that all go and say to yourself “I’ve got this.”
In this episode of The Elevated Life®, we’re going to share 4 ways that you can step into your power and start living your truth.
It’s very easy to respond to negative situations with anger and fear, but what if you put the extra effort in and responded with love?
Elevated, spiritually enlightened people know that the ones that cause them the most stress or anger are those that are most in need of love. When someone cuts you off in traffic or lashes out at you, you can make the choice to respond to them with love instead of mirroring back their anger.
Worry is living in the future and planning to fail. Presence is living in this moment.
Not every moment is unicorns and rainbows. My grandmother died recently and it was so painful, but I made the choice to live in the present moment instead of agonizing over a future without her. This stillness and presence allowed me to listen within and be aware of my inner feelings.
Stop spending time in the past with regret and in the future with worry. Miracles happen in the moment.
When you play the victim by not taking responsibility, you are giving your power away.
The only way to create powerful change in your life is by recognizing and taking responsibility for the things in your life that are not going the way you want them to.
We spend so much of our lives seeking the recognition of others. Have you ever let yourself be defined by someone else’s opinion?
When you start to focus on how you can serve, rather than how you can be recognized, you are giving yourself the power to determine your own worth.
Contribution doesn’t necessarily mean money, it means showing up and being loving to others. It’s hard to live in worry when you are being a light to others.
