5 Steps to Building Momentum
Rest
The biggest part about living a mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy lifestyle is to look at where you need more rest and recovery time. You might have to eliminate negative things in your life that are weighing you down. When you prioritize your rest, you’ll be able to start showing up 100% in what you are doing. If you only have the energy to show up for your goals half-assed, you’ll quickly lose sight of the vision and enthusiasm.
Gain Clarity On Your Goals
If you don’t know where you’re going, then there’s no reason to put in active energy. While in the rest period, you’ll have space for the inspiration to arise from what you feel excited to move forward and take action. You don’t need to figure out every bump in the road that can come up to stop you. Momentum comes from having an inspired idea and then gaining the energy to take action toward that journey.
Live By Faith
You need to live having the trust that your goals are already done. When you decide to change your attitude, no matter what challenges come your way, you’ll know that your goal will still happen. Letting go of the fears of what could happen allows you to relax in the present moment and stay enthusiastic about what’s to come.
Visualize Your Success
Once you visualize yourself in your mind, you create a sense of faith, attitude, and trust. Visualization is your most powerful tool to assure your success. See yourself completing your goal and live like it’s already done, even from the beginning when there’s no evidence that it’s going to work out for you – that’s how you keep the momentum going.
Stay Consistent
The only thing we’re doing when we’re going after goals is making it a habit. It’s only hard while it’s still new, but once it’s become your daily habit, it’s easy and happens automatically. For you to build up your year and make your goals happen, you have to stay consistent long enough to feel that whatever you’ve been doing got easier.
