Without an inner voice reminding us to stay focused and motivated with our goals, it’s easy to get burnt out and sidetracked. The good news is that you have the power to cultivate a mindset that will keep you moving forward.

Step 1: Decide to be all in
Leave yourself with no choice but to move forward on your goals. As Chris likes to say “Burn the bridges back to your old self and your old life.”
Commitment is key.
When it comes to staying motivated, your goal has to be something that makes you say “Hell yes!” With all of the obstacles that come up in your life, relationships, and your business, the excitement that you feel at the beginning is what will keep you moving forward when things get hard.
Step 2: Meet yourself where you are
Is there a skill or a mindset that you’re lacking that will keep you from accomplishing the goal you’ve committed to?
It’s time to get clear on the weak spots now, so that you can take the necessary steps to turn those weaknesses into strengths.
Maybe jealousy is keeping you from building the relationship you desire or your lack of marketing skills are keeping your business from being as profitable as it could be. Becoming aware of these things will start you on the path to improving them so that they don’t become obstacles to your goals.
Step 3: Stop the negative self-talk
“This is going to be hard.”
“I can’t do this.”
“I’m not good enough.”
Our thoughts are powerful, and when you’re constantly bombarding yourself with this negative self-talk, you’re setting yourself up to fail.
That’s why step 2 is so important: once you’re aware of the areas that you’re working on, it becomes so much easier to silence your self-judgment and doubt.

Step 4: Immerse yourself
Surround yourself with the kind of energy that you want to bring into your life. That means listening to podcasts, reading books, and finding a mastermind or group of friends with a similar mission.
This is like having the cheat codes to your big dreams. Why reinvent the wheel? You can borrow other people’s knowledge for your own gain and help them out in return!

Step 5: Take Action Daily
