Our mind is always trying to protect us, but we must learn to get into a responding mode rather than a fear-based reaction. Taking a pause is the most simple and the most effective thing to do when you’re angry. In addition, acknowledge your triggers, remember that anger breeds anger, and always find a way to overcome it and still choose love.
Did you know that 85 percent of self-made millionaires read two or more books per month? When you recognize that anger is arising, remember that emotions are energy. Pause for a moment and ask yourself, what good can you come from this? That automatically shifts you into a new mindset, which creates new self-talk.
We often lack the openness and honesty to communicate with the people around us. We are not open to knowing what each other needs. Speak up, and don’t expect people to be inside your mind because they will never understand it if you don’t express it verbally. We’re all walking around aimlessly and clueless until we figure things out.
Instead of pouting and building ideas about how angry you are, shift your mindset and the physical energy by moving your body. Go outside, work out and express that energy. You might need to yell it out or pound it on the pillow. Whatever you do, just start moving your body and start being physical.

And of all the emotions we feel, one has the potential to absolutely empower or destroy our lives: anger.
When it helps us, we use anger as motivation to go after our goals, as fuel to give us a burst of energy in dangerous situations, or as a signal something in our life needs to change.
The problem is the other side of anger (the one wrapped in guilt, shame, resentment, jealousy, and rage). 🤬🤬🤬
We have to find ways to channel anger positively instead of letting it devastate us.
