Prioritizing self-care empowers you to be your best self, which ripples positively into every aspect of your life. Begin by fueling your nourishment before you give to others. Use this transition season into fall to reflect on your current self-care practices, and don’t beat yourself up if you’ve veered off course. Small, consistent steps are the key. Start by integrating daily rituals that align with your present needs, like meditation, walking, journaling, or pulling oracle cards.
Use the 7 or Above Rule to Check In
With this transition of the seasons, check in with yourself. Start by giving your energy investments a scan. Are they pushing you toward your goals? Then, think about the opportunities you are saying yes to. Do they really light up your soul? Take a moment to rate your daily life – is it hitting a 7 or above on your fulfillment scale? If any of these are not a 7 or above, shuffle your routine and increase your boundaries.
Keep Up with Networking
When you’re meeting new people, be sure to connect with others who’ve been through what you’re working towards. Their insights will be incredibly valuable during your journey. Go beyond the surface when you’re chatting to learn more about their passions and interests to build your connection. But while you’re meeting new people, don’t forget to nurture any new relationships you’ve been building the past few months.
