Time Yourself on Social Media

The second that you find yourself on social media, set a timer so that you have a specific amount that you pre agree to and then log off. This way, you don’t turn a few minutes of distraction into 30 minutes and then forget what you’re doing.

Do What’s Most Important First

When you schedule your priorities first, everything else feels like a piece of cake or a bonus. It just feels so much better when you get it out of the way. Then you have the whole rest of the day to get to other tasks that maybe you were distracting yourself with.

Take a Break Every Hour

We’re not meant to sit in a chair all day long, even though that’s what many of us do. Every 50 minutes, go take 10 minutes for a break and to walk around. Make sure that you’re taking a break because you’ll be so much more productive when you come back.
