Are you ready to wind down the last 90 days of the year?

Tip #1: Observe the Cycles of Nature

Remember: Nature has it down. Take your cues from her. During this transition into fall and winter, she’s slowing down and letting go.

Look around you at the trees – the falling leaves are a reminder that it’s okay to surrender and let go.

Instead of thinking about what you can add in, look at what you can let go. Ask yourself: what is no longer working for me in my life?

This harvest time is also a reminder to open yourself up to receive.

You might be finding yourself saying things like “All of my hard work is starting to pay off!” That’s because all of the seeds that you planted in the spring are ready to be harvested now.

Receive this harvest and feel into gratitude.

Tip #2: Prioritize Rest Instead of Action

As Chris says – “This is nap season!”

It’s the perfect time to ask yourself “what are my real needs?” 

Give in to your inner homebody and embrace nourishing practices that will prepare you for a new year. Now is the time to take baths, enjoy time by yourself in silence, and get into nature.

Allow yourself to just be.

The fall and winter seasons are also the perfect time to use meditation to get in touch with your inner feelings.

Tip #3: Start Planning

Did you have big goals for 2019 that didn’t come to life? It might be because you didn’t plan!

By visualizing what you want for 2020, you’ll gain clarity and purpose that will make it easier to act on your big dreams.

Make it a practice to sit down for 15 minutes every week until the end of the year and ask yourself “What do I want that I’m ready to take action on?”
